Let Go and Allow.
Self-Mastery Reminder for the Day: Allow
One of my favorite quotes from the work of Abraham-Hicks is, “There is only a stream of well-being that flows. You can allow it, or resist it, but it flows just the same.”
I have a theory that sometimes we get so used to struggling that when things flow easily, we find ways to make it hard. Instead of just allowing things to be wonderful, we resist the flow and create obstacles that wouldn’t otherwise exist.
I’ve heard Joe Dispenza make some very insightful comments about this, and reading The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks confirmed my theory as well. (If you haven’t read it yet, definitely get it!)
To shift this pattern, try to be mindfully aware of it throughout your day by checking in with yourself often. Notice when you’re feeling stress or tension and see if you can just relax and allow. Take some slow, deep breaths.
See if you can sense the flow of energy in whatever situation is causing the stress or tension. Instead of forcing things or getting stuck in things having to go “your way” - see if there is an opening.
Look for and try to sense the path of the highest good for everyone involved. That is where the energy will want to flow. That is the nature of the creative universe we live in.
So go ahead. Give yourself permission to let go... breathe... and allow the flow. 😊🙏🏼🌟
