3-Minute Soak in the Silence Meditation

Beyond the constant chatter of your mind lies your deepest truths and the answers to all of your questions. They reside in the spaces between your thoughts, in the silence. Today, give yourself the gift of silence, even if it's just for 3 mins.

Allow yourself to swim in the beauty and peace that it offers to you. Set a timer on your phone, and totally unplug. Shift into being an observer.

Here are some things you can try during those 3 minutes:

Shift Your Attention, Shift Your Energy

Whatever you are directing your attention to in your life right now, is what's growing. It doesn't matter if what you're paying attention to is something you like or not. If you're thinking about it, you are sending energy to it, and in turn, it is growing in your life.

Today, try to notice what you're thinking about, and then remember that you are watering it and giving it all kinds of sunshine through your attention to it.

If you like what you're thinking about - if it feels good and helpful to your life, keep doing it.

However, if it feels icky, if what you're thinking about makes you feel bad and is not helpful to your life, then . . .

Are you SO tired of struggling? If so, try this. . .

Is there an area of your life you are SO tired of struggling with?

For me, there is one area of my life in particular that I have struggled with for many years. I’ll go into deets in another post (because it’ll be a biggie), but for now, just know I totally get it.

I KNOW what it’s like to struggle with something… to try over and over, with what seems like a million different techniques and coming at it from every angle possible, and still… nothing. It’s still there. Showing up in your life like a big, grey, concrete wall that’s blocking you from breaking through to the freedom, expansion, and . . .

Strengthen Your Self-Belief 2 Minutes at a Time

So often, the only thing holding us back or keeping us from achieving our goals and reaching our highest potential is a lack of self-belief. And what is a belief? It's simply a thought that you agree with.

So instead of listening to all of the reasons your mind can come up with as to why you can't achieve something and agreeing with them, why not tune into the loving voice of God/Source within you that tells you that you can, and agree with that voice instead?

The more time you spend consciously connecting with your Source . . .

Let Go and Allow.

One of my favorite quotes from the work of Abraham-Hicks is, “There is only a stream of well-being that flows. You can allow it, or resist it, but it flows just the same.”

I have a theory that some people are so used to struggling, that when things flow easily, they find ways to make it hard. Instead of just allowing things to be wonderful, they resist the flow and create obstacles that wouldn’t otherwise exist.

I’ve heard Joe Dispenza make some very insightful comments about this, and reading The Big Leap by Gay Hendricks confirmed my theory as well. (If you haven’t read it yet, definitely get it!) To shift this pattern, try to be mindfully aware of it throughout your day by . . .

Everything's Going to Be Alright

It's so easy to get caught up in thoughts of anxiety and stress.

When we spend too much time in the mind, we tend to give away our power to these thoughts, and they begin to control and determine our mood and emotions.

Whenever you're feeling that happen, just pause... take a moment to breathe and focus on whatever is surrounding you.

Allow yourself to come back into a full awareness of your physical body and surroundings.

Allow yourself to marvel at the free gift of life that is your breath... simply breathe and repeat. Everything is going to be ok. 😊🌟🤗

Your Mind is a Garden

All day long, seeds are getting thrown into the garden of your mind. Seeds in the form of other people’s ideas, thoughts, beliefs, reactions, judgments, etc. When left unattended, these seeds grow into weeds, and will choke out the beautiful, healthy beliefs and thoughts you have... the ones you need to be deeply and strongly rooted.

Pay attention to your thoughts. Be bold enough to question your thoughts. Question where they came from. Question their validity. Question their helpfulness for your life. Be willing to let go of any thought that is not in alignment with your highest truth for yourself. This is how old, worn out stories begin to break down and dissipate.

My Personal Healing Story

Back in 2006, I was living the ideal life according to what I believed were society’s standards. I had everything I was “supposed” to have. I finished college, got married, bought a home, had a stable job, yet I wasn’t truly happy.

I wasn’t working in the field I had my degree in - I was doing Medical Billing, which paid the bills, but I was miserable doing it. I felt like an automaton, a robot mindlessly processing medical claims day after day.

One of the things I dreaded the most was having to . . .

How to Stop Worrying in 4 Easy Steps

If you’re anything like me, at some point in your life (maybe many points in your life if you’re really like me), you’ve experienced the hell on Earth called “worry.” Maybe you’ve worried about your relationship, your family, your finances, your health, the list could go on and on.

But what is worry exactly? Let’s break it down so we can clearly understand what we’re working with here.

Questioning Your Concept of God

Today I wanted to touch on something that is affecting your entire experience of life, although you might not even realize it. So many people go through life without ever pausing to reflect on this core, fundamental concept. It’s something so simple, yet addressing and clearing it can reap tremendous rewards because of the belief structure that stems from it.

To shine light on this concept with you, I'm going to share a powerful affirmation I found on Page 75 of Catherine Ponder's book, "Open Your Mind to Receive". Here it is:

Two Easy Ways to Practice Self-Love Today

We’ve all heard that famous Golden Rule: Treat others as you want to be treated. Fundamentally, it’s talking about kindness. We’re told to treat others with kindness, because we want to be treated with kindness. But, if that’s true, why do we tend to treat ourselves unkindly? Why do we beat ourselves up so much when we make a mistake? Why is it easy to give others a break, but not ourselves?
